Hello, friends!
Meg: We’re back! Did you miss us? We’ve been writing furiously all this time — more on that below — but before we tell you what we’ve been up to, we wanted to make sure you know about Amie’s preorder. The Isles of the Gods is only two months away! I’ve read it, of course, and it is everything I needed in a book, after the last few years. Banter, romance, adventure, loyalty, sleeping gods, magicians!
Amie: I can’t believe it’s finally nearly out! My preorder is going to launch on Sunday March 12th, but I’m giving subscribers to
a 72 hour head start, and the best chance at claiming the early bird bonus. It’s a gorgeous pin that’s only available to a limited number of readers, and I want to reward my newsletter subscribers by giving them the first shot at it. It’s my way of saying thank you for sticking with my stories.Meg: So! Click over now and subscribe to
— we’ll wait — and then we’ll tell you about the rest of our adventures.Amie: Now, onward! Since the last time we saw you, we’ve reunited! We spent a glorious week together in New York, in the most delightful apartment in Brooklyn.
Meg: We got SO much writing done, we watched a lot of Star Trek in our downtime, we saw Six the Musical—
Amie: —I spent ages using that website that lets you see the view from every seat in a Broadway theatre, to try and get the best intersection of value and view, and then Meg surprised me by splashing on seats in the third row, and I screamed my face off. Look how close these queens are!
Meg: Totally worth it, to see her face! Now, it might seem like we were just having fun, going to musicals… but that musical was research. And so was our trip to the Met Arms and Armoury exhibition.
Amie: Here’s Meg demonstrating her love for me by posing behind a breastplate, even though she’d hurt her back and I kept telling her to bend down lower. And here’s both of us… thinking thoughts. And making plans. And tweaking plots.
Meg: There are so many clues in these pictures! We can’t wait to tell you more about the project we’re working on — we’ll be turning it in to our editor soon — but in the meantime, know that we’ve never had more fun writing anything.
Amie: Amen to that. The other day Meg’s latest chapter made me laugh out loud and fan myself all within two pages.
Meg: That’s probably enough teasing for now. Until next time, thank you for reading — and thank you for your patience as you wait for our next book! And don’t forget to go subscribe to
for the shot at the early bird bonus on Amie's preorder! You are absolutely going to want to read The Isles of the Gods, so you may as well preorder and grab a bonus!Amie: I love you more than ever, my chief cheerleader! And readers — until next time, when we’ll come bearing more hints!
